Introduction
"I know I have but the body of a weak and feeble woman; but I have the heart of a king, and a king of England, too; and think foul scorn that Parma or Spain, or any prince of Europe, should dare to invade the boarders of my realms: to which, rather dishonour should grow by me, I myself will take up arms; I myself will be your general, judge, and rewarder of every one of your virtues in the field." background
The Spanish Armada of 1588 was a fleet that made the Spanish navy's strong and ready to crush England. Philip had an idea that began
in 1584 to make invasion possible:Combine the plan of Santa Cruz with the plan Don Juan made before he died. The fleet would sail from Lisbon . The troops came from Netherlands. The Spanish beat England and it drove it away from Narrow seas between Netherlands and England. Francis Duke had orders from the king to keep him well-informed of everything he did. The early part of voyage Duke sent a pinnace to carry a letter back to Libson every two or three days. He also wrote a letter to Duke; messenger from Prama (captin Moresin) sailed into the river in a Pinnace. The messenger he brought was the first communication the Duke had had from Parma: and as things turned out, it was the last. The first huge fleet had sent a long voyage crammed with sailors. It took 200 years before the Armada took the Sailors. The crowd's were worse than the human body. The spirit could be withstand; Sailors survived needed weeks of rest ashore before they were able to do their job and face well-armed enemy.
